Valentin is a landscape ecologist, R developer and the current lab technician. He specializes in ecological modeling and research software engineering. He holds an M.Sc. in Biology from McGill University, during the course of which he gained extensive experience with land use change and connectivity models, and a wide range of tools (GIS software, HPC environments, participatory and reproducible research methods). His project experience includes landscape connectivity conservation and R package development and maintenance.
